Lastly, pass over with maximum power vacuum.
NB.
Before using steam, completely discharge the condensation on a cloth and clean any
residue from vacuuming off the brush.
Spots:
on carpets, rugs, non delicate fabrics, etc. use the grout cleaning lance with maximum vacuum
power and maximum steam output, with cross jet in relation to the surface in order to send the
steam towards the centre of the spot and vacuum at the same time. Repeat the operation various
times.
Mould:
clean with the short lance (14) and the round brush covered with the cloth at least 2 or 3 times
and attached to the lance with a rubber band. Add a few drops of bleach on the cloth. Minimum
steam output.
Wax:
wax can be applied to floors with the multi-purpose brush covered with a cloth. Minimum steam
output. It is important not to use much wax being careful to put it on a cloth already heated with
steam, passing over more than 2 or 3 times.
Lime on steel parts:
dampen the surface with vinegar. Use the short lance (14) with round brush, maximum steam
output. Be careful because vinegar used various times and left for a long time in contact with steel
can make the surface opaque.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
To keep the generator efficient, the inside of the boiler needs to be washed (approximately every
100/200 hours of operation). Various water hardness values may alter the performance of the
generator.
The hardness varies from area to area and consequently, maintenance should be done based on
the element.
To clean lime scale deposits from the boiler, wait until it is completely cold, unscrew the lower
drain cap using the "key" built-in the body of the safety cap (Fig. 40), rinse with plenty of water
until it is completely clean.
Screw down the drainage cap making sure it is completely tight
WARNING!! Do not remove the cap while the boiler is pressurised.
