You have just acquired a quality product developed with TRAPP's state-of-the-art
technology. This product was designed to work quickly and efficiently, providing total
safety at low cost. Some care is therefore necessary. The important safety measures
stated in this manual do not cover all possible situations that may occur during usage.
The operator shall understand that common sense, attention and care are factors that can
not be incorporated to the product, but that have to be supplied by the people that
handle the product and that maintain it.
When using the trimmer or lawn mower
always follow basic safety precautions to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and
accidents, including those described below:

Before turning on the trimmer or lawn
mower - Make sure the voltage of the
power source (110/127V or 220/230V) is
the same of the equipment.
✔
Never use the trimmer or lawn mower
without the protection device - as the
cutting blade that adjusts the length of the
nylon line is attached to it, avoiding
overload and consequent burning of the
motor.
✔
For longer life of the nylon line - avoid
putting it in contact with stones, walls,
fences and sidewalks.
✔
Avoid dangerous environments - Do not
use the trimmer or lawn mower in either
humid or wet places.
✔
Never use metal cutting elements.
✔
Never use the trimmer or lawn mower in
the rain.
✔
After using the trimmer or lawn mower,
clean the air inlets located on one side of
the equipment.
✔
The motor used in the trimmer or lawn
mower - is of universal type. At every 300
hours check for brushes (coal) wear out and
if necessary, substitute them. Look for the
nearest TRAPP technical assistance shop.
Important Recommendations

Keep children away - People, especially
children, must remain at a safe distance
from the working area. The operator or
user is responsible for accidents and for
exposing people to risky situations in his
property.
✔
Dress properly - Do not wear loose clothes
or jewelry as they may be caught by the
movable parts of the equipment. It is
recommended to wear gloves and shoes
when working outdoors.
✔
Wear goggles.
✔
Use the equipment properly - Do not use
the trimmer or lawn mower for tasks other
than intended. Only use the equipment as
described in these instructions and for the
functions specified.
Note:
Differential-residual current protection
device - As a safety measure, we
recommend the use of a differential-
residual current protection device (DR
device) less or equal to 30 MA
(standard NBR 5410) in your electrical
installation. (Consult an electrician).
