Photoelectric light controller
setting
14 The sensitivity of the photo-
electric lighting controller can be
steplessly adjusted from appr. 2 Lux
(night-time operation) to 300 Lux
(day-time operation). On the left is
the potentiometer for setting the
response threshold value. The set-
ting furthest to the right is for day-
light operation, the setting furthest
to the left is for night operation. The
default setting of the CBMM 611-...
is for daylight operation.
Troubleshooting
Fault
No function
Does not switch on
Does not switch off
Continuously switches on/off
Switches on for no reason
15 The sensitivity of contacts D and
D/B always applies jointly to both
outputs. The setting should ideally
be checked using output "D". As
this movement sensor module is
equipped with an integrated dazzle
protection, please note the fol-
lowing:
16 Any change to the photoelectric
lighting controller setting can only
be checked after a delay of 60 sec-
onds. This delay must be observed
after each change of the photoelec-
tric lighting controller setting.
Cause
Fuse is defective
Short circuit
Not switched on
During daytime operation photoelec
tric switch threshold is too low
Bulb gone
Relay defective
Mains fuse defective
Relay switched to continuous light
Switched over to continuous light by
supplementary protective circuit
Continuous movement in pickup
area
The activated lamp is located in the
pickup area
Animals moving in the pickup range
Wind moving trees/bushes in pick
up range
Picking up cars from the street
Sudden temperature change due
to weather (fans, open windows,
exhaust etc.)
