To change any parameters:
● Turn the knob to select the parameter then
push it.
● Turn the encoder to change the value.
● Push it again to save the new value.
The new settings have now been saved even if
the screen changes or ESC has been pushed.
Only in this screen it is possible to select
and set the required program.
5.2.1. PR (Program)
Set from 1 to 8 individual programs.
If you set EXT, Programs 1..8 will be selected
externally through the input connector, pins 8
thru 15, on the back panel.
If you decide to work thru EXT Program, you
need first to set all the parameters of programs
1...8 and then select the EXT program.
When working thru EXT program, no
modification of programs 1..8 are possible.

5.2.2. TORQUE
The desired assembly torque is adjusted by a
percentage of the torque range of the selected
tool.
For example with a SLC 100 tool, an adjustment
at 50 % for an hard joint determines an
assembly torque of approximately 6 Nm.
This torque value should be confirmed and
adjusted with an ALPHA TESTER for example.
The torque level is indicated on the main screen
by "TORQUE LEVEL".
5.2.3. JOINT
You must select the type of joint (hard or soft) on
which the tool is operated.
A typical example of a soft joint is a self-tapping
screw on plastic or sheet metal or an iso screw
in a deformable substance (gasket...). A typical
example of an hard joint is an assembly made of
metal pieces.
If the type of joint selected is "SOFT", the
screwdriver will work at the selected speed (see
5.2.6).
If the type of joint selected is "HARD", the
screwdriver will work at the selected speed
during the chosen time (see 5.2.4) then the
speed will be automatically reduced to reach the
selected torque.
If the type of tightening chosen is not
correct, the tightening results will not
be as precise.
5.2.4. FINAL PHASE (Approach time)
This option can be chosen when the selected
tightening is "HARD".
In this case, you can choose a time included
between MIN (function excluded) and 10.0
seconds.
This time determines the duration during which
the screwdriver will work at the selected speed
(approach speed).
Once this time has elapsed, the speed will be
automatically reduced to a value determined by
the controller (tightening speed) which depends
on the torque level.
The value of the approach time is indicated on
the main screen.
