6 - CARE AND STORAGE

Disconnect the pump before carrying out any mainte-
nance.
To clean out any dirt from the pump's suction cham-
ber, undo the six securing screws on the pump, disas-

7 - PROBLEMS IN USE / SOLUTIONS
Causes
1- The water level has not reached
the pump's trigger level.
2- The float cannot move freely.
3- The float (C) is not working.
4- No power
5- There is dirt trapped in the turbine
housing.
1 - The suction chamber is clogged
with dirt.
2 - The discharge pipe is blocked.
3- An air lock has occurred:- Due to
the float being incorrectly adjusted,
the stop level is too low and the
pump is sucking air.

1 - The power supply is not compa-
tible with the pump motor.
2 - A solid body is blocking the hy-
draulic installation.
3 - The pump has been used with
water that is too hot.
4- The pump has been running dry.
semble the base and rinse the grille using a brush
and a water jet.
Keep the pump in a frost-free location.
1- You could adjust the float (C) to lower the
pump's trigger level.
2 - Re-position the pump so that the float
has sufficient room to move freely.
3 - Check the float manually by lifting it up.
4 - Check that the plug is properly inserted
in the socket. Check the circuit breakers and
electrical connections external to the pump.
Check the condition of the cables.
5 - Disconnect the pump and rinse the suc-
tion chamber (see Care and Storage).

2 - Remove the discharge pipe and unblock
it.
3 - Adjust the float so that the stop level is
above the suction grille.
- Open the discharge pipe and then lower
the pump, tilting it and shaking it.
Disconnect the pump, eliminate the cause of
the overheating, wait for the pump to cool
and then connect it again.
