Routine maintenance

Periodic and correct maintenance of the vacuum pump
will ensure a long operation life and constant
performance.
Lubrication
The oil provided with the pump has been specially
formulated & manufactured to lubricate vacuum pumps;
it is special as it features minimum viscosity fluctuation
when in use under a wide temperature range. The type of
lubricant supplied with the pump allows the evacuation of
systems operating with CFC, HCFC and HFC refrigerants.
Working with ROTHENBERGER POE synthetic oil is also
feasible.
Both ROTHENBERGER oil types available after order.
Volumes to be filled into the pumps are specified in
section 1.1. Replace the initial oil charge no later than 150-
200 hours of operation; further replacements should be
carried out every 600 hours of correct usage.
Oil could be polluted by other oil, humidity, refrigerants,
etc. It is mandatory to use oil in perfect conditions to
assure a perfect performance of the pump.
Oil-change
