BATTERIEs
• Never attempt to open for any reason.
• Do not expose the battery to water.
• Do not store in locations where the temperature may exceed 40°C.
• Charge only at ambient temperatures between 10°C and 40°C.
• Charge only using the chargers provided with the tool.
• When disposing of batteries, follow the instructions given in the section "Protecting the environment".
• Under extreme conditions, battery leakage may occur. When you notice liquid on the batteries, carefully wipe the liquid
off using a cloth. Avoid skin contact.
• In case of skin or eye contact, follow the instructions below.
WARning:
The battery fluid is a diluted sulphuric acid and may cause personal injury or damage to property. In case
of skin contact, immediately rinse with water. If redness, pain or irritation occurs seek medical attention. In case of eye
contact, rinse immediately with clean water and seek immediate medical attention.
CHARgERs
Your charger has been designed for a specific voltage. Always check that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage
on the rating plate.
WARning:
Never attempt to replace the charger unit with a regular mains plug.
Use your charger only to charge the battery in the tool with which it was supplied. Other batteries could burst, causing
personal injury and damage.
The battery must be placed in a well ventilated area when charging.
• Never attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Have defective cords replaced immediately.
• Do not expose the charger to water.
• Do not open the charger.
• Do not probe the charger.
DO NOT OVERCHARgE:
• AC recharge up to 24 hours maximum.
• DC recharge up to 24 hours maximum.
• After recharge, disconnect the charging adapter and wait 5 minutes before use.

chargIng the spotlIght
The charge status LED lights while the unit is charging and stays lit while the charger is plugged into the 12 volt DC
charging port. When the spotlight dims, the unit needs recharging.
iMPORtAnt: When the unit is not in use, we recommend that the battery is charged at least every 30 days.
charging with the mains charger
WARning:
Do not charge for longer than 24 hours.
• Make sure that the spotlight is off (the trigger lock is in the off position and the trigger is not depressed).
• Insert the charger jack plug into the 12V DC charging socket.
• Insert the mains charging adaptor into a mains power socket.
• Charge for approximately 18 to 24 hours.

The spotlight may be used with either charger plugged in. However, the charging function will stop until the spotlight trigger is
released and the trigger lock is disengaged.

operating the spotlight
1. Disconnect from charger.
2. To turn the spotlight on, squeeze the trigger.
3. To turn off the spotlight, release the trigger.
note:
The On/Off trigger can be locked in the on position using the trigger lock bar on the side of the unit.
locking the spotlight
To lock the spotlight in the on position, depress the trigger, then press the trigger lock bar. The spotlight will stay on
until the trigger unlock bar is pressed and the trigger is released.
If the trigger is released when the trigger lock bar is pressed, the spotlight will be locked in the off position. To turn the
spotlight on again, press the trigger unlock bar before pressing the trigger.
troubleshootIng
no charging status indicator led lights when charging
1. Check connection to the DC charging port.
2. Check connection to ac or dc power source.
3. Confirm there is a functioning ac or dc current.
unit will not operate
1 If you suspect the bulb is blown, check the filament. If the filament is coiled and unbroken, the bulb is not blown. If
bulb is blown, replace it.
