 Close the locking tap of the supply pipe
in the external collection shaft.
 Close the locking tap at the filter outlet.
 Turn the filter cup screws and pull it
downwards along with the cup.
 Pull the filter inlay downwards.
 Rinse the filter socks with clean water
by turning it outwards from the inside.
 Pull the filter sock over the supporting
body and turn it inwards into the sup-
porting body.
 Assemble it back in the reverse se-
quence.

Troubleshooting
General rules
DANGER
Risk of electric shock.
– Switch on the system in a voltage-free
state; set the plant to "0" using the ex-
ternal main switch. The container light
and the working sockets (230 V) still
bear voltage when the main switch is
switched off.
DANGER
Risk of accident while working on the unit!
During all tasks:
– Close locking tap of fresh water.
– Let the hot parts of the plant cool down.
– Depressurise the plant by opening all
hand-spray guns.
Who may remedy faults?
 Operator
Work designated with the sign "Opera-
tor" may only be carried out by persons
who have been instructed in the safe
operation and maintenance on the high
pressure plant.
 Electricians
Only persons with a professional train-
ing in the electro-technical area.
 Customer Service
Work designated with the sign "Cus-
tomer Service" may only be done by the
fitters of Kärcher Customer Service.
