4.2.1. Charging Procedure
Attach the round connector end of the charger cable to the battery. This is done by aligning the key
of the cable connector with the slot in the battery connector and pressing in while turning clockwise
one quarter turn. Refer to Figure 4-1 for the location of the connector.
Plug the battery charger into the AC mains power. The LED on the charger should turn ON
indicating that charging has started. The LED has different modes that are explained on the label on
the charger, and in Table 4-1.

Batteries that are not used for extended periods of time (3 to 6 months) should be charged to
full capacity.
