BEFORE YOU START:
· Read all instructions prior to starting.
FASTENER NOTICE: Use the correct fastener in the correct
location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part
number for that application. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force
and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening
sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to
avoid damage to parts and systems.

Removal of existing fuel door assembly:
1. Open fuel door.
2. Remove two T30 head screws (1) holding the fuel cup
housing (2) in place.
3. Unscrew gas filler cap.
4. Remove fuel cup housing (2).

5. Reinstall gas filler cap.
6. Drill out existing rivets (1) holding the fuel door hinge in
place. Use a sharp drill to ensure proper alignment.
7. Remove the fuel door assembly (2) by sliding the assembly
towards the rear of the vehicle.
8. Remove tether from existing fuel door hinge.
