Installation of new fuel door assembly:
9. Coat drilled holes with Supper Lube (GM 12371287) prior to
assembly.
10. Install the two U-nuts provided in the kit onto the fuel door
hinge as shown in Figure 3A. Make sure the holes are
aligned between the U-nut and the hinge.
11. Install the chrome fuel door assembly by sliding it towards
the front of the vehicle, making sure the holes in the fuel
door hinge align with the holes in the sheet metal.

12. Secure the fuel door to the body using the two Torx T30
screws provided in the kit. Tighten the screws to 9.0 Nm (80
lbin).
13. Remove gas filler cap, and install the fuel cup housing (2).
14. Reinstall gas filler cap.
15. Reinstall the two Torx T30 screws that hold the fuel cup
housing in place. Tighten the screws to 9.0 Nm (80lbin).
16. Close the fuel door.
17. Check fit of the fuel door to body.
18. If adjustment is needed loosen the Torx T30 screws holding
the fuel door in place and move accordingly. Then retighten
the screws.
19. Reinstall tether to fuel door hinge.
20. Close the fuel door.
