Introduction

Intended Use

The Philips Respironics SimplyGo Portable Oxygen Concentrator is for
prescription use by patients requiring supplemental oxygen� It is small,
portable, and is capable of operating in multiple modes: pulse, continuous,
and sleep for use in the home healthcare environment, and is classified
as transit-operable for use in private and public transportation including
commercial aircraft�

Contraindications

This device is not intended to be life-sustaining or life-supporting�
This device is not intended for newborn and infant use�

The SimplyGo Portable Oxygen Concentrator, its features, and its accessories
are described in detail in this manual� Read and understand it completely
before operating the device�

The organization that provides this equipment to the patient for use is
accountable for ensuring the compatibility of the accessories used to connect
the patient to the oxygen concentrator to the requirements of ISO 80601-2-69
and ISO 80601-2-67� In order to meet the requirements of ISO 80601-2-69 and
ISO 80601-2-67, the accessory cannula must have a fire stop device that stops
fire and flow of oxygen to the patient�
