4. Digital TV

Press SETUP key to enter the Main Menu. Move the cursor to the first item " Digital TV"and
press ENTER to enter the Digital TV menu. There are such options as channel
management, installation, configuration, software upgrade, factory default and version.

4.1 Installation

Select the Installation item and press ENTER key, the screen will display the password
input dialog box, the default password is " 0000" . Use the numeric keys on the remote
controller to input " 0000" , and then it will enter into the Installation menu, see the figure
below:
There are three kinds of modes: Area Search, Manual Search and Auto Search.

4.1.1 Area Search

It can search the channels according to the country (area) you selected and the
search range is all the channels on the every frequency point of the country (area).
Select the country you want to search the channels in the system setting: Main
Menu Digital TV  Configuration  System Setup  Area.
When entering the area search menu, the unit will search all the channels within the
selected country automatically.
Press EXIT to stop and exit the auto searching.
After the searching finished, it will exit the searching picture automatically and save
the searched channels information and return to the Install menu.

4.1.2 Manual Search

If you know much more about the digital TV and know the frequency of the program,
you can select manual search mode to search the channels quickly and save much
time.
Before manual search, you should set the search parameters (including the frequency
and the bandwidth). Use the numeric keys to input the frequency and Left/Right keys to
select the bandwidth. Then press ENTER to start manual search function.
After the manual searching finished, it will exit the searching picture automatically and
save the searched channels information and return to the Install menu.

4.1.3 Auto search

It can search the channels within the frequency range you set. And this time you
should set the start search frequency, the end search frequency and the bandwidth.

4.2 Channel Manager

The unit provides an efficient function of channel manager, such as channel organizer,
channel sorting, channel grouping, edit channels and delete all.
There are two independent pages for channel manager, TV and RADIO. You can enter the
page via the menu Main Menu  Digital TV  channel manager, as shown in the figure
below:
