General Product features

SECURY 2170 / 2170 EVP / 2171 / 2178 / 2116 S / 2116 S EVP / 2119 S
are multi-point locks for modern project doors.
 
Three automatic latchbolts project 20 mm automatically after the door is
closed and should be locked.
The latchbolts are then secured against being pushed back (only for
multi-point locks for 1-leaf doors: SECURY 2170 / 2170 EVP / 2178 /
2116 S / 2116 S EVP).
 
Fundamentally suitable for use on fire and smoke protection doors.
 
Tested in combination with various door systems RC2- and RC3.
 
Suitable for swing doors made of timber, metal and other material
combinations.
 
Suitable for 1-leaf and 2-leaf door systems.
 
Equipped with panic function in the escape direction (except
SECURY 2178).
 
In combination with WDL / BKS hardware, approved in accordance with
EN 179 and DIN EN 1125 (except SECURY 2178).
 
Connecting cable (length 10 m) is included in the delivery
(SECURY 21 S: length 8 m).
Equipment versions
 
SECURY 21 EK / 21 S with A-opener:
With the optional A-opener, all three latchbolts can be pulled back in a
motor-driven manner.
 
SECURY 21 EK with additional latchbolt monitoring:
Upper and/or lower latchbolt can be replaced with optionally available
latchbolt with monitoring function.
