To operate the transmitter you need
a 2-pin connection cable
(max. 0.5 mm²) for
Operating voltage, which
is applied to terminals 1 and 2.
When using DC voltage
must be set to the correct polarity
must be respected (see Fig. 2).
For the operation of the receiver you need a 4-pin
connection cable. To the terminals 1 and 2 are the
Operating voltage (same as transmitter) (see
fig.3). Via terminals 4 and 5 a normally closed
contact for the safety input provided by a control
system. If several photocells are used, the
normally closed contacts must be connected in
series.
24.3.2.
Adjustment
Adjustment can now be started (see Fig. 4).
Avoid looking into the infrared beam of the light barrier while adjusting the
transmitter and receiver. This can cause damage to the retina.
Now switch on the operating voltage for the transmitter and the receiver. A
green LED display will light up when the transmitter is correctly wired.
