Electrical safety instructions

The power tool has double insulation, which
means that all external metal parts are insulated
from the electrical components. Therefore, in
accordance with EN 60745 standard, no grounding is
required. However, double insulation does not replace
normal safety precautions, which must be observed
when using the power tool.
Do not expose the power tool to rain or use it in wet or
moist environments. The presence of water in a power
tool increases the risk of damage and electric shock to
the user.
Only hold the power tool by its insulated surfaces,
which prevent electric shock if the power tool comes
into contact with hidden wires or power cord during
operation.

environments, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create
sparks that can ignite liquids, gases, or dust.

Before you start working

and are not familiarized with how to operate the
oscillating multi-tool must not use it.

should take into account a few precautions and
procedures before start-up:
▪ Inspect the power tool before each use. Check that
the attached accessories are assembled correctly and
in good condition. In case there is excessive damage
or wear, replace them;
▪ In normal operation, the power tool vibrates. Check
that all fixing screws are properly screwed. Regular
inspection is important to ensure the safety and
performance of the power tool;
▪ After the accessories' assembly and before using the
power tool, test it at full speed with no load for a
while. Check for moving parts misalignment or any
other condition that may affect the oscillating multi-
tool operation. Check that all moving parts rotate

While operating

Keep third parties away from the power tool's area
of operation. Never work while animals or people,
especially children, are in the danger zone.
Keep the work area clean, organized and well lit (250 to
300 lux light), thus decreasing the risk of accidents.
Always wear personal protective equipment and
clothing. Wearing a visor or goggles, dust mask, hearing
protection, anti-slip safety shoes, long-sleeved clothing,
gloves and helmet properly reduces the risk of injury.
Clothing worn during the machine operation must be
adequate, tight and closed, for example, a work boiler
suit. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep hair,
clothing and gloves away from moving parts.
Operating the power tool causes a massive load of
vibrations may damage nervous and circulatory
systems, especially to whom have circulatory problems.
Inform your doctor if any symptoms arise caused by the
vibrations. Among these symptoms, that occur specially
on fingers, hand and wrists, are also included loss of
sensation, pain, muscle weakness, skin discoloration or
tingling sensation.
When operating the oscillating multi-tool, plan pauses
and avoid operating the appliance for long periods of
time. Permanent vibrations are harmful to health.
