Battery
1. Insert the battery (9) into the power tool and press
down the battery until you hear the "click" noise. At
this point the battery is completely secured;
2. To remove the battery, press the lock/unlock side
tabs and pull out the battery;
Use VITO 12V lithium-ion batteries.
Charging the battery
1. Place the battery in the charger as if you were placing
it in the appliance;
2. Plug in the charger into the socket and let it charge.
Sometimes at the end of charging, both the battery and
the charger may be hot, which does not mean they are
malfunctioning.
Let the battery cool before putting it in the oscillating
multi-tool.
Accessories installation
Remove
the
battery
accessories.
1. Move the accessory locking lever (7) 180°, releasing
the accessory fixing pin;
2. Install the accessory on the oscillating multi-tool and
then the fixing pin;
3. Move the accessory locking lever (7) back to its initial
position;
4. Put the battery back in.
To change accessories, repeat the procedure.
Installing and changing the sanding sheets
• Use only sanding sheets with the corresponding
dimensions and perforated holes.
• Install the sanding sheet on the triangular base plate
(4). Check that the holes in the sanding sheet match the
triangular base plate.
• To remove the sanding sheet, simply pull it.

When working with the oscillating multi-tool, you
should consider some precautions and operating
procedures:
▪ Hold the appliance firmly. Loss of control of the
oscillating multi-tool can cause serious injury;
▪ When working on loose or small parts, use fixing
devices to secure the parts firmly;
▪ Do not apply excessive pressure to the oscillating
multi-tool against the workpiece/object. If speed
decreases abruptly, reduce the pressure on the
oscillating multi-tool immediately;
▪ Never put down the oscillating multi-tool before the
triangular base plate (4) has completely stopped;
▪ Wear hearing protection when using the oscillating
multi-tool. Noise exposure may cause hearing loss;
▪ Switch the oscillating multi-tool off immediately if
any of the following problems occur:
- Leakage of grease through ventilation slots;
- Damage to the oscillating multi-tool housing;
- Damage to the ON/OFF switch;
- Appearance of smoke or characteristic burning smell;
Variable speed control dial
The oscillating multi-tool is equipped with a variable
speed control dial (12), with 6 speed levels.
Level 1: Lower speed;
Level 6: Higher speed;
