How Does Play-Fi Work?
Play-Fi is HiFi over WiFi for Android phones and tablets. Music is streamed directly
over your home Wi-Fi network from the Wren Play-Fi App running on your device to the
Wren V5PF speaker. The result is crystal-clear playback.
You can also use Play-Fi to link multiple Wren V5PF speakers together to create an audio
system for your entire home. You can stream to all the speakers at once -- or let individual
listeners stream different music to different parts of the house.
The technology behind Play-Fi is complex, but it's simple to use: Plug in your speakers
and download the free Wren Play-Fi App for Android. The app will automatically find and
connect your Wren V5PF to your home WiFi network. Next, choose a speaker(s), select
music from one of the sources in the Wren Play-Fi App, and press play. Then sit back and
enjoy music in any room in the house!
