6. Exclusively for Volvo V70 and Country
Bring the end of the wiring kit with the 13-P (grey) connection socket to the bundle of wires on the vehicle's side (under
the lock holder, see Figure 2). Connect the 13-P socket of the wiring kit with the matching counterpart on the vehicle.
Exclusively for Volvo S60/S80
Bring the end of the wiring kit with the 13-P (grey) socket to the left side of the boot space. Connect the 13-P socket of
the wiring kit with the matching counterpart on the vehicle (under the rear left parking light, Figure 4).
7. For all models
a) Bring the L-marked end of the wiring kit to rear left parking light. Cut the wire of the rear left anti-fog lamp of the
vehicle in an easily available position. Insulate the ends of both wire parts on the length of about 5 mm. Connect
the provided plug-in sleeve of the wiring kit, emerging from the switch of the rear anti-fog lamp, and insert into
the provided housing and onto the plug-in sleeve. Connect the flat plug of the blue/green wire with the mounted
plug. Connect the provided flat plug with the end of the wiring kit, leading to the rear anti-fog lamp and insert it
into the provided housing and onto the flat plug. Connect the plug-in sleeve of the grey/white wire with the
mounted plug.
b) Connect the eye terminal of the 2 x brown wires to the appropriate grounding point (if necessary, drill a 3 mm
hole and fix the eye terminal with the provided metal sheet screw; do not protect the drilled hole with any
anticorrosive agent).
c) Insert the relay into its seat and fix at proper location. Insert a 15A fuse into the free socket No. 9 of the fuse
holder in the boot space of the vehicle (see Figures 3 and 5).
8. In vehicles with two rear anti-fog lamps (on the left and right side), the R-marked end of the wiring-kit is, as described in
7a, connected on the right side in the boot space. If there is only one rear anti-fog lamp in a given vehicle, then the R-
marked end of the wiring kit is not needed.
An additional control lamp for driving with trailer is available on the vehicle, having been subject of preliminary
