6. Functional Description
The SATA clean RCS is designed for rapid cleaning of pneumatic paint spray guns
used for painting with waterborne or solvent-based paints, between colour changes
inside our outside the spray booth. Take heed that waterborne and solvent-based
paints resp. cleaning agents must not be mixed in any case.
The system is designed for use with disposable paint pot systems.
7. Cleaning Process
Before cleaning, put / insert two containers into the SATA clean RCS. The
closing flap (11) opens by slightly pushing it upward and pulling it back at
the same time.
Then bend closing flap (11) down and fix it by pushing it towards the
appliance.
Fill proper cleaning agent into the right container. (Cleaning agent dosage
according to manufacturer's instructions.)
Insert suction hose (10) into the container.
(USA / Canada: Close the RPS cup lid by means of the included closing
cap)
Put an at least equally large container into the left side for taking the soiled
cleaning agent, in order to prevent overflowing (resp. screw RPS cup from
below into the QCC threaded connection).
Attention: Soiled cleaning agent must be recycled resp.
disposed of in accordance with manufacturers' instructions
and/or the local regulations.
1. Connect a paint spray gun to the air outlet side (3).
The air outlet is equipped with a G 3/8 external or a G ¼ internal thread.
Attention: Connect paint spray guns only to the air outlet side. The use of supplied-air
respirators is only permitted via a separate air supply – direct hose connection at the
filter!
2. Painting (turn functional switch (4) to „Spraying"), adjust pressure
at the filter unit to the required volume between 6 and 8 bars.
3. After painting remove the disposable cup system according to
manufacturer's instructions
