Using the RAID Utility
Once launched, the RAID Utility will briefly scan for your DriveStation Quattro.
This may take a few seconds.
The initial screen will show your current configuration (Fig: 6). If your Quattro
is new, it will probably be in RAID 0 mode, with one high-performance
partition. If you want better data security, Buffalo recommends RAID 5 mode,
with its excellent balance of security and total capacity.
To change the RAID mode, click on the Configuration menu and choose the
Change Disk Structure option.
