Hardware Attachment

Warnings:
- If the wrong hardware is used, the product will NOT fit correctly on the
wheelchair. Before attaching the hardware, follow the "Hardware Selection"
instructions to ensure you are using the correct hardware for the wheelchair.
Consult with a clinician or the equipment provider for assistance.
- Identical discs MUST be installed on both sides (for example, AB and BA). If
the discs are not identical (for example, AB and AA), the back shell will not be
centered, which may affect positioning. See "Hardware Selection".
- If hardware is attached and must be replaced, follow "Hardware Removal"
instructions first, and then "Hardware Attachment".
Follow these instructions for left and right sides.
1. Before attaching the hardware, make sure it is correct
for the wheelchair and back shell. See "Hardware
Selection".
2. Attach the discs. Press one disc into the grooves on
the back shell. Press the other disc into the grooves on
the inner cane clamp.
Note: If using the AB / BA discs, place the "B" discs in
the back shell.
3. Use the angle adjustment screw to attach the inner
cane clamp to the back shell. Match the bumps and
openings on the discs.
4. Tighten the angle adjustment screw until snug.
5. Use the cane clamp scew to attach the outer cane
clamp. Tighten the cane clamp screw two (2) full
rotations.
