4.2 RESISTANCE / CONTINUITY MEASUREMENT (mΩ Ω Ω Ω position)
The instrument is designed to measure resistances of up to 100 kΩ; the measurement DC current is
≥200mA up to 20Ω (IEC standard 61557-4).

INSTRUMENT SETTINGS
Before performing the measurement, use the
→ select the measurement mode (MANUAL or AUTOmatic),
→ select the number of poles for the measurement (2 or 4 poles),
→ in manual mode, select the measurement current polarity.
By its default configuration, the instrument places
itself in MANUAL mode and performs a 2-pole measurement.
4.2.2.2
MEASUREMENT CORD COMPENSATION :
For 2-pole measurement only, in manual or automatic mode.
The cord compensation function can also be used for coupling measurements before
performing the last 2-pole measurement (see §4.2.2.2).
→ → → →
Cord compensation is not possible during a measurement.
