Nel caso di installazione a soffitto montare l'apparecchio ad una distanza minima
dalle pareti laterali di 60 cm. (fig. 2,3,4,5)
Una volta montato l'apparecchio HD al proprio attacco, orientare la lampada nella
direzione dell'area da riscaldare, agendo sullo snodo ed eventualmente allentando e
stringendo la vite che ne regola la frizione. L'efficienza riscaldante massima si
ottiene con un'inclinazione di 45°.
In caso di installazione all'interno di una stanza da bagno rispettare le distanze
minime da docce e vasche da bagno, compatibilmente con quanto previsto dalla
norma impianti vigente. Inoltre i

Utilizzo e pulizia
Per accendere/spegnere l'apparecchio agire sull'interruttore a cui HD è stato
collegato in fase di installazione o staccando la spina.
Nel caso di apparecchio asservito al Regolatore di Potenza (accessorio opzionale),
l'accensione, lo spegnimento, la regolazione (30% - 100%) della potenza erogata si
realizzano mediante i rispettivi comandi sul Regolatore.
Rimuovere saltuariamente la polvere sulla parabola e sul bulbo con un pennello
pulito o con aria compressa, in modo da garantire sempre la massima efficienza
calorica di HD.

Read these instructions carefully before using the device. Urbani srl will not assume

comply with the information contained in this booklet. Following these instructions
will ensure the longevity and electrical and mechanical reliability of your unit. Please
keep this manual on hand at all times.
Description of device
The Hotdoor heater must be mounted at least 200 cm from the floor,
The heater "Hotdoor" (hereinafter called "HD") is a waterproof infrared heater (IP44
protection rating), for auxiliary and area heating, indicated for wall, ceiling, or
pedestals mounting applications.
Using infrared radiations, heat is given off to persons and/or objects. AU has no
moving parts and guarantees minimum noise during use.
Field of use
HD is particularly designed for domestic, commercial, or industrials uses, especially
if instant heating is required, and for specific areas for people present.

Safety

appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children
without adult supervision. Children under 3 should be kept away unless continuously
supervised. Children from 3 to 8 may only switch on/off the unit provided that it has
been placed or installed in its intended correct operating position. And that they are
supervised or have been instructed on how to use the unit correctly and understand
the hazards involved. Children from 3 to 8 cannot plug in, regulate and clean the
appliance or carry out user maintenance. CAUTION — Some parts of this product
can become very hot and burn. Particular attention must be paid when children and
people at risk are present.
• This appliance is manufactured according to high standards of craftsmanship. To
ensure a longevity and overall electrical and mechanical reliability, it must be used
correctly and regularly serviced.

• If you decide to stop using the appliance, switch it off and disconnect it from the
power supply. Store it out of reach of children and persons with disabilities. Unplug
the unit so it cannot be used.
• Do not use the appliance in the immediate proximity of bathtubs, showers or
swimming pools. Always respect safety distances as per EEC-CEI standards.
• The appliance will become very hot during use. Avoid all contact, especially
between your skin and the hot surfaces. Switch-off the unit and wait at least 5
minutes for it to cool down before doing any work on it.
• Do not make modifications of any kind to this appliance.
• Pay particular attention when using in unsupervised settings.
• Regularly inspect the appliance for visible defects. If any defects are found, do not
operate the appliance and contact Urbani srl immediately.
• Never install the appliance above an electrical outlet where its position could cause
the outlet to overheat (see picture 5).
• The appliance must be properly connected to an electrical system in compliance
with applicable regulations and equipped with an efficient earthing system. If in
doubt, have a qualified electrician perform a thorough check.
• The appliance must be installed by a professional technician, according to the
instructions given in this booklet. Urbani srl will not assume any responsibility for
damages caused to property or persons injured as a result from failure to abide by
the instructions with in this booklet.
• WARNING: must be connected to a fixed electric wire. When
installing, always use a proper electric switch to ensure complete
disconnection from electric power. There must be a separate contact
in all poles so as to provide full disconnection under over-voltage
category III conditions.
• Connect the appliance to the electrical power supply only if the system is able to
provide the maximum electrical voltage and capacity indicated on the rating plate at
maximum power.
• Before carrying out any type of cleaning or maintenance operation, turn the
appliance off and turn the main power switch off to disconnect it from the power
supply.
• If the appliance has dropped or suffered a heavy blow, be sure to get it checked
immediately by Urbani srl or licensed maintenance service centre.
• When carrying out maintenance operations, never touch the bulbs directly, use
only the terminal casings. The bulb will be damaged if handled with bare hands; in
this eventuality, the product guarantee will no longer be considered valid.
• In case of accidental contact with the surface of the bulb, clean it immediately by
wiping with a cloth dipped in alcohol.
• If the appliance does not function correctly or develops a fault, turn it off and
contact Urbani srl or the reseller immediately.
• Ensure that only original Urbani srl spares are used for any repairs. If the cable or
the power plug are damaged, take the appliance to a licensed Urbani srl service
centre for replacement.
• Switch off the appliance at the main switch: a) if the appliance does not function
correctly; b) before cleaning the outside of the appliance, c) if the appliance is not to
be used for long periods of time.
