9. MAINTENANCE, CLEANING AND CARE
•
After the assembly and before using the home trainer, always make sure that all
bolts/nuts are fully and correctly tightened.
•
Clean the unit regularly with a slightly damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent.
•
This is especially important for the seat and the handles, as these parts are in
constant contact with parts of your body during the entirety of training.
•
Empty batteries are hazardous waste—please dispose of them correctly, and do not
throw them away with normal household trash.
•
Should you wish to eventually dispose of the product, you should remove the batteries
from the computer and dispose of them separately as hazardous waste.
REPLACING THE BATTERIES:
If the display becomes dim, cuts out occasionally or if the pulse rate is no longer accurately
measured, the batteries are in need of replacement.
To do this, open the battery compartment cover on the back of the computer and insert
new batteries.
Two 1.5 V AAA batteries are required. Always replace all old batteries with new ones and
always heed correct polarity when inserting new batteries.
