IMPORTANT TIPS:
• Unit is fully assembled. Remove clear plastic blade
guard before use and save it to use as blade-cover
when unit is not in use.
• Battery must be charged before use. Please refer to
battery charging instructions.
• When starting unit, push the safety switch forward
and then squeeze the main trigger. It is not neces-
sary to keep the safety switch pushed forward dur-
ing use.
• If the blade becomes jammed on a branch while cut-
ting, IMMEDIATELY release trigger and clear jam. If
you continue to hold trigger with blade jammed you
will damage the motor.
• IMPORTANT: this is a powerful tool that is remarka-
bly easy and comfortable to use. As such, please
pay attention to the placement of the blades while
using to avoid cutting yourself.

During normal residential use, if this ReadyHedger® fails due to a defect
in material or workmanship within two years from the date of purchase,
American Gardener, at its sole discretion, will repair or replace the unit
free of charge.
For warranty services or questions please call (800) 637-2867.
This warranty applies only while this ReadyHedger® is used in the United
States.
The warranty does not cover components that are subject to normal wear,
such as the blades and batteries. It also does not cover abuse, misuse,
or use of the product in a commercial setting. Replacement parts are
available for purchase from the retailer you bought your product from, or
by calling us at (800) 637-2867 or visiting our web site at www.american-
gardener.com.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other
