Installation
Make sure that the servo motor and electronic module from the
same packaged unit are installed (calibrated at the factory).
A vacant tube is required for the line between switched-mode
power supply and electronics.
Plaster and tile the wall, excluding the area of the structural
shell protection.
Operation,
see technical product information, 99.0438.xxx.
Activating setting mode
Disconnect the power supply to the electronics and reconnect
after 10 s.
The indicator lamp in the sensor system illuminates in setting
mode when the detection zone of the fitting is reached by an
approaching user.
Setting mode is automatically terminated after 3 minutes.

• Obstacle during calibration
• Servo motor defective
• No voltage (LED in electronics not

• Servo motor and electronics not calibrated - Calibrate servo motor
• Water supply interrupted
• Waste not closing
• Detection zone of sensor system set too

• Servo motor defective or not calibrated

• Residual flow rate in cistern too high
• Flow rate in cistern too low
Maintenance
• Shut off water supply
• Switch off voltage supply
• Inspect and clean all components and replace if
necessary.
Calibrating the servo motor
Caution: The servo motor must be calibrated outside the
cistern!
Battery
The battery must be replaced 3 years after commissioning the
faucet, at the latest.

Disposal note

This category of device does not belong in the domestic
waste, but must be disposed of separately in
accordance with the relevant national regulations.
Remedy
- Perform calibration again, ensuring there is no
obstacle in the adjustment range of the servo
motor
- Replace servo motor
- Switch on power supply or replace switched-
mode power supply
- Replace electronics
- Replace servo motor
- Attach plug-in connector
- Increase detection zone using remote control
(special accessories 36 407)
- Open isolating valve in cistern
- Maintain or replace waste, see technical
product information for cistern
- Calibrate servo motor
- An opposing object is detected. Reduce
detection zone using remote control
(special accessories 36 407)
- Replace or calibrate servo motor
- Push residual flow slider at waste downwards
- Turn float of filler valve upwards
