the battery charger and connect the pumps' clamps
directly to the battery charger's terminals in order to
prevent the generation of sparks that might cause
fires.
6
Make sure that the voltage of the pump (indicated
on the identification plate) corresponds to the vol-
tage of the battery
7
Make to always respect polarity: connect the black
clamps to the - pole and the red clamps to the +
pole Be extremely careful (when connecting the
pump to the battery) to avoid making contact be-
tween opposite poles and creating sparks (which
can cause fire). We recommend connecting the ne-
gative pole first and then the positive pole.
8
Position the pump securely and make sure that the
lengths of both the power supply cables and the
piping are sufficient to ensure solid positioning.
4.2 Starting
After checking to make sure that all the tubes have
been adequately sealed, that the power supply cable
has been connected to its attachment and the gun is in
the rest position, the pump can be started
After inserting the suction tube in the tank and the gun
in the filling hole, switch on the pump, gradually release
the gun's lever and begin the transfer of the Diesel oil
WARNINGS
It is absolutely prohibited to abandon the pump whi-
le filling in order to prevent the potential overflow
of Diesel oil
Never start the pump before first connecting the
suction and delivery tubes
After closing the gun, switch off the motor pump as
quickly as possible
It is absolutely prohibited to use the pump with your
hands wet, barefoot or while standing in water
WARNING: The use of batteries of adequate capaci-
PROBLEMS
The pump fails to turn
Low pump flow
CAUSES
- No power supply
- Impeller jammed
- Motor malfunction
- Tank liquid level too low.
- By-pass valve jammed
- Filter clogged
- Air in the suction tube
- Decreased pump rotation speed
- Leakage of Diesel oil
- The suction tube is resting on the
bottom of the tank
- Excessive suction height
ty that are not sufficiently charged creates decreased
pump speed, reduced flow, and insufficient suction that
may lead to the lack of suitable Diesel oil flow.
CHAPTER 5

Assembly and disassembly

The motor pump has no separate accessories and the-
refore does not require assembly
The motor must be disassembled only and exclusively
at authorized assistance centers or by qualified tech-
nicians
CHAPTER 6
Mechanical risks
Risks created by extreme surrounding temperature
Remember that excessively low temperature (-30ºC)
can freeze the diesel oil inside the pump and that this
can cause serious damage to all parts of the motor
pump
Excessively high temperature (40ºC in the shade) can
cause the sagging or dilatation of the unit's plastic
parts We recommend fastening the unit in a well-ven-
tilated area protected from direct sunlight
CHAPTER 7
Maintenance and trouble shooting
7.1 Maintenance
Maintenance operations can be performed only after
first disconnecting the power supply plug. The motor
pump does not require any special maintenance insi-
de, and for this reason must never be disassembled It
is important to keep the suction and delivery sections
perfectly clean and free from all clogging
- Check the clamps and the safety
devices
- Disassemble, check for signs of
damage or clogging
- Reassemble
- Contact your local dealer
- Fill up the tank
- Clean and re-assemble
- Clean the filter.
- Make sure that the suction tube is not
damaged
- Check and correct pump voltage
- Check the connectors and gaskets
- Raise the tube in the tank
- Lower the level of the pump
