4. Plug the adapter into a 230V electrical outlet, the UV LEDs will
light up and the fan will start.
*: the small container is attached to a switch in the insect trap; if the
container is not installed or not tightened clockwise, then the insect
catcher cannot be switched on.
The insects are first attracted to a blue /purple UV light located on
the BC-17 and subsequently drawn downwards by the fan into a
container.
Place the container back into the insect catcher and turn clockwise
again to tighten. Hang the insect catcher back and connect the
adapter.

OPERATION
To empty the container, first take the
power adapter out from the electri-
cal wall outlet and disconnect the
adapter plug from the insect catcher.
Then take the whole insect cat-
cher outside and turn the container
counter clockwise so that it comes off
the lamp. Now shake the container
empty.
