6.1 Safety information
Risk of Damage
– The backrest is not locked on the seat when it
is folded and can come apart.
1. Remove the hand control.
2. Disassemble the bath lift into two sections for transport
(base frame with seat plate and backrest), refer to 6.2
Removing Bath Lift, page 19.
Risk of Damage
– Do not remove the suction cups when
transporting the bath lift.
– Refer to the storage and shipping conditions in
chapter 10.4 Environmental Parameters, page
28.
6.2 Removing Bath Lift
1. Let the water out of the bathtub.
2. Lower the bath lift using the Down button until the
backrest stops in the lowered end position, refer to 5.2
Controlling Bath Lift, page 16.
3. Unlock the jack socket on the spiral cable of the hand
control by pushing up the unlocking sleeve and pull it
off the jack plug.

Hold the backrest at the head end with one hand and
slowly fold the backrest forwards to the end position.
Risk of Damage
– Do not fold the backrest down if water is
in the bathtub.
– Before folding the backrest down, ensure
that the backrest is completely in the
lowered position.
– When folding the backrest down, ensure
that the spiral cable of the hand control
does not become trapped.
5. Pull the backrest up off the seat and out of the bathtub.
6. Fold the side flaps of the seat inwards.
