The Patella Tendon Support Sport from BORT exerts pressure on the tendon con-
nected to the kneecap (patella). This helps the patella to glide in the correct path during knee
movement. Simultaneously, the pressure results in increased pressure of the musculature
responsible for guiding the kneecap. You can adjust the pad pressure individually.
The Patella Tendon Support Sport with its modern design has no guide loop and is particu-
larly suitable for high activity levels and also contact sport types. The soft, elastic strap
material ensures high wearing comfort.
Instructions for use:
– Open the patella tendon support and place it directly beneath the kneecap.
– Close the Velcro tape on the patella tendon support and ensure that sufficient pressure is
exerted on the kneecap tendon whilst avoiding causing congestions in the lower leg area.
Indications:
Patellar chondropathy, femoropatellar arthrosis, patellar tendonitis.
Contraindications:
Peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD), lymphatic drainage disorders including unclear
soft tissue swelling distal to the positioned aid, sensory disturbances and circulatory disor-
ders in the specific body region, skin diseases in the specific part of the body.

84% polyamide, 16% elastane

No re-use – this medical aid is intended for treating one patient.
If the patella tendon support is to be worn at night, observe that the circulation is not im-
peded. In case of feelings of numbness, loosen the patella tendon support and remove it if
necessary. In case of persistent complaints, you should consult a doctor.
Neither use any creams nor ointments when wearing the support as they could damage
the material.
