OPERATING THE VEHICLE

CHECKS TO PERFORM BEFORE AND AFTER USE

For safe riding and a long life for the vehicle it is advisable to:
Check all fluid levels.

Check that the brakes are working properly and

check the brake pads for wear (p.86-88).
Check the pressure, the general condition and

the tread depth of the pneumatic tires (p.93).
Check the spokes for proper tension.

Check the chain adjustment (p.94).

Check the setting and the correct functioning of
6
all the flexible control cables.

BREAK IN PROCEDURE

The break in period is about 500 km, during this period it is advisable to:
- Avoid driving at a constant speed (without varying the speed).
- By varying the engine speed, the internal components will wear in properly in the Least amount of time.
- Avoid using the vehicle with the throttle open more than ¾ of the way.
WARNING
After the first 500 km, the transmission oil must be changed.
After the first 500kms or the first off-road trip, be sure to check all the bolts.
Check all bolts for proper tightness.

Check the operation and the function of all

the lights (headlight, taillight, stop light, turn
signals) make sure that the horn works properly.
Wash the vehicle thoroughly after off-road use
