C) INSTALLATION THROUGH A HOLE MADE IN THE WALL
- Make a hole in the wall, big enough to take the pipe sleeve accessory (Fig. I,J). This sleeve can be fixed into position
using silicone sealant, screws, etc., depending on the base material.
- The lids for the sleeve can be used to block off the hole whenever air-conditioning is not required. (Fig. K)
In order to fit the flexible pipe through the hole it will have to be disconnected from the outdoor unit. This is easily done
thanks to the Quick-fit Coupling.
Do as instructed below:
- Check that the appliance is switched off and unplugged from the mains.
- Take the bottom cover off the connection area and then remove the screws from the top cover. The connection area
for the flexible pipe should now be visible. (Fig. L)
- Pull the electrical connection out. To do this press down on the plug's top and bottom holding clips (Fig. M)
- Remove the condensate drain pipe by turning it a quarter turn to the left and then pulling it out. (Fig. N)
- Push the quick-fit coupling lever downward. (Fig. O)
- Move the coupling's metal body down (Fig. P) whilst pulling it up vertically at the same time(Fig. Q).
The flexible pipe has now been removed from the indoor unit. Slide it through the hole after having placed the outdoor unit
into position.
Reconnect the flexible pipe to the indoor unit by doing the reverse of that described above.
Attention!
- The quick-fit coupling can only be attached in one position (Fig. Q) and must be completely vertical in order to fit into

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Air-conditioning
- Plug the appliance in.
- Select either the maximum (
- Set the thermostat to the desired temperature (fig. U). Should the thermostat setting cause the appliance to switch
itself off automatically, you will have to wait until the room temperature rises by 2-3ºC before it switches itself back on
again.
The appliance cools and dehumidifies the air within the room at the same time in order to create a pleasant climate.
The water produced during this process by condensation is led outside and released from the condenser by evaporation.
Under extremely humid conditions the appliance will store the condensed water in a tank inside the indoor unit. When this
reaches a set level the safety lamp will light up, indicating that the said tank will have to be emptied, which is done as follows:
- Switch the appliance off (
- Attach the flexible drain pipe (fig A,8) to the water outlet (fig A,10) located on the bottom of the appliance (fig. C)
If the safety lamp lights up even though the room is not particularly damp, then this would indicate that the condensed
water has been inadvertently stored inside the indoor unit. Under these circumstances, proceed as described previously.
Check that the flexible connection pipe between the units has not been flattened or crushed and that the difference in
height between the units does not exceed 1.5 metres.
