Dehumidification
Set the function control knob (Fig. T) to the "Dehumidification" symbol (

Release the water from the outdoor unit by removing the plug from the lower tray
- Move the two units to whichever area you wish to dehumidify. Place the outdoor unit on a base or support, e.g. a
table. (Fig. V)
- Connect the flexible drain pipe (fig A,8) to the water outlet on the outdoor unit (fig A,13) and direct it down into a
suitably sized container to collect the water.
- Select the (

- Depending on ambient conditions, the appliance is capable of extracting up to 60 litres of water per day.

Air purification
- On this setting the air inside the room is recirculated through purifying filters.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Cleaning and replacing the purification filters
- The indoor unit features a main filter (fig A,6), which will require cleaning from time to time. To do this it should be
washed under running water, dried and put back.
- The set of purifying filters (fig A,7) will have to be replaced each year. Replacement filters can be obtained from your
local supplier. Always use original Ufesa replacement parts. Replacement filters: RKZ 15013
- Fit the new filters as shown in figures X.
- Only place one set of filters over the base filter in order to maintain the cooling effect.
Cleaning the appliance
- The appliance can be cleaned down with a cloth or sponge, warm water and a mild detergent.
- Never use hot water (more than 40°C), bleach, petrol-based products, acids or brushes when cleaning your appliance.
Prevent water entering the appliance. Do not clean your appliance with a hose.
- Clean the outdoor unit before it is put away.
Before use at the beginning of the season
- Clean the air filter.
- Then clean the cover and grilles, should they need cleaning.
Before storing it away
If you think that the appliance is not going to be used over a long period then it is advisable to empty the internal water
tank with the help of the drain pipe (8) placed onto the drain cock (10) at the bottom of the appliance, as shown in
figure 3.
