REPLACING THE BATTERY

1. Press the cover protecting the battery and slide it towards the outer edge
before removing it. 2. Get a new lithium CR2032 battery (3V) ready. 3. Remove
the old battery from where it is located and replace it with the new one. 4.
Replace the protective cover.
-To avoid accidents and misuse, keep the batteries out of the reach of
children. - Please dispose of used batteries in the appropriate waste collection
bins. To prevent environmental pollution, do not simply discard batteries. - Do
not recharge the batteries. - Do not swallow the batteries. - Do not expose the
batteries to fire or they might explode. - Do not dismantle the device except for its
battery compartment. - It is recommended that the batteries be removed when
the thermometer is not being used for long periods.
