6.2 Tips for spot removal

Chocolate, coffee, tea
Dissolve 2 to 3 tablespoons of borax
in a litre of lukewarm water. Soak a
cloth in the solution and dab away the
spot.
Liquorice
Carefully scrape away the liquorice
from the mattress. Then dab away
with a cloth soaked in a solution of
water and ammonia. If necessary,
treat with a clean cloth and plain water
afterwards.
Egg, milk
Dab away the stain with cold water.
Fruit, lemonade, fruit juice
Treat with warm water or sprinkle with
