upstream of the injector's high-pressure inlet.
For commercial-vehicle injectors, use adapter
1 685 720 308. Use connecting cable 1 684 465 868 to
connect the pressure sensor to the CRI 800 actuation
electronics.

Preparation for testing

4.1 Installing and connecting tester set
CRI/CRIN 848H

The operating instructions for tester set CRI/
CRIN 848H describe the installation and connection
of the clamping device and the connection of the
CRI 800 actuation electronics.
1. Install and connect the clamping device of tester
set CRI/CRIN 848H.
2. Make the electrical connections for the CRI 800
actuation electronics.
3. Use a USB connecting cable to connect the CRI 800
actuation electronics to a free USB port on the EPS
computer.

Pressure sensor installation

When screwing the pressure sensor in or out,
always apply the wrench to the adapter's hex nut
(see also fig. 9).

Ensure cleanliness when working on sealing
components (sealing cone, sealing surface).

Do not re-use sealing cones. Always use a new
sealing cone when changing the adapter.
1. If it is already fitted to an adapter, remove the
pressure sensor from the adapter.
2. Take the sealing cone out of the adapter.
3. Clean the sealing surfaces in the adapter's pressure
sensor mount and on the pressure sensor.
