FS regulates the speed of fan motors according to
pressure changes. Make sure that the motor is
approved by the motor/unit manufacturer for
variable speed by means of phase cutting (TRIAC).

atmospheric pressure.
• Ensure supply voltage, frequency and current
rating of motor match the rating on name plate
of FS. Make sure that supply voltage to system
and FS are disconnected before installation or
service.
• FS are factory set to a specific pressure. If
adjustment is needed, refer to instructions for
proper procedure. Improper adjustment may
result in system damage or failure.
• Do not exceed safe working pressure.
• Do not touch housing if speed control is

Mounting location:
see Fig. 3 and Fig. 4.
Mounting:
Direct mounting via pressure connection or indirect
mounting on housing bracket with capillary tube or
sweat pressure connection.
Pressure connection:

see Fig. 5 and 6
(for tightness the use of copper gasket on 7/16"-
20UNF female connection is required)
Electrical connection for FSF-N__
Plug FSF-N15 with 1,5 m cable according to DIN
43650. Push plug slightly on the pins of controller .
Direction of plug in 90° steps see Fig. 7. No gasket
required.
Fasten screw with 0,3 Nm.
Plug can not be repaired. In case of failure replace
connector.
Note: Maintain compliance with local electrical
regulations for wiring. Use proper cable diameter
for wiring of motor.
Do not use with two-speed motors.
Wiring diagram (see Fig. 8):
Note: Use fuse type/size recommended by motor
manufacturer and break switch. Consult motor
manufacturer for capacitor size (Cb).
Leakage test:
After completion of installation, a test pressure must
be carried out as follows:
- According to EN378 for systems which must
comply
with
European
directive 97/23/EC
- To maximum working pressure of system for other
applications
Warning:
1) Failure to do so could result in loss of refrigerant
and person injury.
2) The pressure test must be conducted by skilled
persons with due respect regarding the danger
related to pressure.
Note: In case of failure always replace controller
and plug.
