Conergy IPG series central inverters
Responsibilities of the operator
The operator must ensure that
| Conergy IPG series central inverters are operated in accordance
with statutory regulations and the safety instructions specified in
this operating manual and attached to the device;
| only qualified electricians instructed by the manufacturer and
authorised by the owner/operator or persons under instruction
from a qualified electrician carry out work on Conergy IPG series
inverters. All safety instructions specified in this operating
manual and attached to the device must be consulted,
understood and followed;
| a second person is present during all work on the electrical
system. In the event of an unforeseen electrical accident, that
person must be able to switch off the power supply and provide
assistance;
| warning instructions on the device which have become illegible
are replaced as soon as possible;
| work on the device is only carried out by authorised and
sufficiently qualified personnel;
| Conergy IPG series central inverters are set up in enclosed
operating rooms;
| access to the operating rooms is only granted to persons
authorised by the owner/operator;
| a copy of this operating manual is available in the immediate
vicinity of the device.
Responsibilities of the electrician
| The general information, step-by-step instructions and, in
particular, the safety instructions regarding assembly and
installation must be read in their entirety before commissioning
and before closing the disconnectors, and must be followed at all
times.
| Residual voltages inside the device can result in fatal surges!
Condensers may also be charged after the device is switched off!
Therefore you must observe an additional waiting time of 8
minutes! A suitable measuring instrument should be used to
verify that the device is deenergised, in accordance with
applicable guidelines.
