Damage due to incorrect tightening torque!
Overtightening the Allen screws on the DC terminal block may
cause damage to individual terminals or cables.
| Observe the tightening torque of 25–30 Nm for the terminal
screws on the DC terminal block.
6. Tighten the terminal screw (25–30 Nm).
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for all cable leads (maximum six).
8. Close the front door.
The solar generator is connected.
Connecting the grid
An incorrect rotary field will not be connected to the public grid.
Conergy IPG series central inverters therefore only switch on with a
clockwise rotary field.
Connecting the grid
1. Open the front door.
Damage due to damaged cable leads!
The cable leads for the connection are prepared and provided by
the customer in length and dimensioning for all versions and
performance levels of the Conergy IPG series.
Damaged cable leads can result in damage!
| Check all cable leads before connecting the cabling.
| If a cable is damaged, it must be replaced.
2. Check the cable leads of the grid connection for damage.
3. In succession, strip approx. 10 mm from the L1, L2, L3 and N-
cables.
4. Loosen the terminal screws of the lower terminal connections
(1) but do not fully unscrew.
5. In succession, insert cables L1, L2, L3 and N from below into
the terminal block.
Tightening torque for Allen bolts!
Overtightening the Allen screws on the AC terminal block may
cause damage to individual terminals or cables.
| Observe the tightening torque of 25-30 Nm for the terminal
screws on the AC terminal block.
6. Tighten the terminal screws (1) (25-30 Nm).
