Maintenance
Before performing any maintenance operations or adjustments of the mechanical parts of the equipment, wear
protective shoes, gloves and goggles.
Routine maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by an operator with the necessary physical and intellectual

qualifications.
Special maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by a qualified mechanic.

Before any maintenance or adjustment operations, disconnect the tool from its power source.
•
Keep bystanders away when servicing or repairing the machine.
•
Only qualified mechanics are authorised to inactivate the safety devices provided on the machine when maintenance
is to be performed. It is their responsibility to safeguard the operators and the machine. The safety devices should be
activated as soon as maintenance work has been completed.

All maintenance procedures not dealt with in this manual are to be performed at CAMPAGNOLA Authorised Service
Points.
•
When maintenance or repairs have been completed, the machine can be started again only if duly authorised by the
qualified mechanic. The service mechanic must make sure:
-
work has been completed;
-
the machine runs in a trouble-free manner;
-
the safety devices are activated;
-
no one is working on the machine.
3.1
Product identification
A CE identification plate / label is applied to each machine / tool (Picture 1).
Model, serial number and year of manufacture are shown on the Manufacturer's CE plate. The CE plate is applied
on the machine / tool and shows the following data and symbols:
1) Compliance marking according to the 2006/42 / CE directive.
2) Company name and full address of the Manufacturer / Constructor.
3) Mandatory prescription for all personnel being responsible for the use and / or maintenance of the machine / tool
as per the corresponding use and maintenance manual.
4) Machine / tool designation.
5) Type of machine / tool - Designation of the type / code of the machine / tool.
6) Serial number.
7) Year of construction, i.e. the year in which the manufacturing process was completed.
8) Information pursuant to the 2012/19 / EU "WEEE" Directive: Electric and electronic waste may contain substances
that are dangerous for environment and human health. Therefore, they must not be disposed of with the household
waste. They must be carried to a waste collection center to be collected separately.
9) Power supply voltage of the tool (only for battery-operated tools).
For a correct and clear identification of the tool, reference must be made to type, serial number and year of con-
struction shown on the identification plate. Mention them to Campagnola Srl for any request for intervention or
assistance.
