f Connect the scanner and PC to the USB ports using the supplied
USB cables.

Installing the computer

• The computer's instruction manual is pre-installed on the
operating system.
• Check the computer's minimum technical requirements to
ensure the proper functioning of the scanner.
f Install the computer according to the computer manufacturer's
installation instructions.
5.3

Installing the software

• The PrograScan PS3 / PS5 scan software is pre-installed on
supplied workstations.
• If this is not the case, our customer support will install the
software remotely. Please see chapter "Customer support",
page 7, to contact our customer support.
• The computer's instruction manual is pre-installed on the
operating system.
f Install the computer according to the computer manufacturer's
installation instructions.

Operation

f Fix the jaw model to one of the accessories and then attach the
accessory to the tool holder by means of the integrated clip or
magnetic closure (depending on model).
f Ensure the scanner is in a proper and safe condition.
f Initiate the scan process using the software and follow the
instructions step by step.
f If you are unsure, please contact our customer support
immediately (see chapter "Customer support", page 7).
