Disassembly
1. Remove battery (238).
2. Drive out pin (214). Remove blade (206).
3. Loosen two screws (209). Unscrew and remove
cutting head assembly (201).
4. Remove piston bushing (210) and spring (208).
Replace the piston O-ring (211) and piston back-up
ring (212).
5. Unscrew two reservoir cover screws (234) and
remove reservoir cover (233).
6. Remove the hydraulic reservoir plug (16) and drain
hydraulic fluid. Reinstall plug.
7. Remove the remaining housing screws (221, 222,
223, and 230).
8. Remove left housing half (224). Remove trigger
(227) and trigger lock (228).
9. Lift pump/motor assembly and circuit card from right
housing half (235). Lift LED (237) from its opening.
10. Slide a plastic bag over the circuit card and elec-
tronic subassemblies. Tape the bag shut to protect
the subassemblies from hydraulic oil and other
contamination.
11. Remove screw (82) and release lever (15).
12. Remove three screws (81) and separate the gear
housing/motor subassembly from pump housing.
Pump Disassembly
13. Use a hooked tool to gently remove the reservoir
O-ring (49) from the reservoir (4). Remove the
reservoir.
14. Remove pump piston (14) and spring (55). Replace
the O-ring (48) and back-up rings (50).
15. Use a marker or piece of tape to mark the side of the
relief (5) that is facing the screw (76). This mark or
piece of tape will later be used when installing the
needle valve subassembly. Remove needle valve
subassembly by unscrewing the plug (6).
16. Remove feeding tube subassembly by unscrewing
feeding tube (19). Replace the oil filters (59, 10,
and 11).
17. Remove piston (213).

18. Remove tamper-proof paper seal (60).
19. Remove two screws (76). Remove end cap (2).
20. Apply pressure evenly at three points around the
ball bearing (46) and gently pry the bearing up to
remove it.
21. Remove eccentric (17), grooved ball bearing (47),
and retaining ring (56) subassembly from shaft.
22. Remove four screws (77). Remove mounting
block (3) from gearbox (40).
23. Use a snap-ring removal tool to remove the retaining
ring (56).
24. Unscrew the four bolts from the gearbox (40).
Separate gear housing from spacer. Unscrew two
Fillister head screws (83) to separate spacer from
motor (39).
