Using for the first time
- Raise the handle vertically until it clicks into place.When using the iron for the first time, you may notice a slight emission
of smoke and hear some sounds made by the expanding plastics. This is quite normal and it stops after a short time.
Warning:
use a piece of cloth when steam ironing for the first time in order to eliminate any impurities from the appliance.

PREPARING THE LAUNDRY

Sort the linens to be ironed according to the international symbols on the garment label, or if this is missing, according to the
type of fabric.
REGULATION LABEL
Ironing the garments requiring a low temperature first. This reduces waiting time (the iron takes less time to heat up than to
cool down) and eliminates the risk of scorching the fabric.

STEAM IRONING

Filling the tank
• Check that the plug is disconnected from the socket.
• Remove the tank from the handle using the sliding button b [Fig. C].
• Open the cap on the back of the tank [Fig. D].
• Fill the tank with tap water and close the cap.
• Replace the tank by positioning the front part first and then ease the back until it clicks into place [Fig. E].
Selecting the temperature
• Place the iron in a vertical position and connect the plug to the mains.
• Turn the temperature selector e [Fig. F] according to the international symbols indicated on the clothing labels. Wait a few
minutes before starting to iron.
Warning:
if after ironing at a high temperature, you select a lower temperature, wait a few minutes before ironing so that the
plate has time to cool down and test the iron on a hidden part of the material.
