Connect the black 2-core cable to a circuit breaker of a distribution board
X
in accordance with the applicable regulations.
or
Mount a mains power socket on the black 2-core cable in accordance with
X
the country-specific regulations.
4.2.2 Connecting the battery to the inverter
WARNING
Danger of explosion from sparking! Danger of electric shock!
Before connecting the battery, ensure that no consumer devices are switched
X
on and the rotary switch is in the "Off" setting.
Ensure that the polarity of the battery connection is correct.
X
The cables pre-fitted to the inverter must not be extended.
X
Follow the instructions of the battery manufacturer.
X
Turn the rotary switch to the "Off" setting.
X
Ensure that the connection to the mains grid has been carried out correctly.
X
An easily accessible disconnection device should be connected to the
X
battery cables immediately next to the battery. The disconnection device
should consist of a DC circuit breaker or a DC fuse. Choose a circuit breaker
or fuse with a minimum voltage of 30 V and a disconnection function of
at least 150 A slow blow or 175 A fast blow (60,000 ≤ I²t ≤ 200,000). For
detailed information and help in sizing see the technical manual at
www.steca.com.
Connect the red battery cable to the positive terminal + of the battery.
X
Connect the black battery cable to the minus terminal – of the battery.
X
Ensure that the connections are tight.
