4. Press the right-hand key directly under the display to activate the language.
5. Exiting the menu: Press the Disconnect key for a long time.

Registering the handset for the first time

These instructions describe how to register the telephone on a base unit for the
first time.
Requirements:
• The base unit is configured as an end device on an Auerswald/FONtevo
PBX.
• At least one VoIP account has been configured for the base unit on the PBX.
Note: The registration must be performed both on the base unit and on
the handset. Both must be performed within 60 seconds. You will find
instructions for performing registration on the base unit in the base unit's
Operating Manual.
When you first commission the handset, the message Please register handset
is displayed when you insert the rechargeable batteries.
1. Perform registration on the base unit.
2. Press the Register key to confirm the message Please register handset
on the handset.
The system displays a clock symbol and the message Searching for a
base in registration mode.
When registration has completed, the handset changes to the idle state. The
handset's name is displayed in the display. If not, repeat the procedure.
The telephone is now ready for use!
