Using the Telephone

Switching the handset on/off

Switching on: On the switched-off handset, press the Disconnect key

Switching off: When the switched-off handset is in an idle state, press the
Disconnect key

Enabling/disabling the keypad lock

The keypad lock prevents the telephone from operating unintentionally. If the
handset is secured with a PIN, you need that PIN to unlock it. When delivered,
the PIN is set to "0000".
Switching on: Press
Switching off: Press
PIN (if it is not 0000)
Note: If a call is signalled on the handset, the keypad lock is automatically
disabled. You can accept the call.
When the keypad lock is enabled, you cannot call emergency phone
numbers either.

Dialling the phone number

Dialling a phone number with dial preparation

The number is dialled approximately 3.5 seconds after you enter the last
digit.
