– Run the wiring harness and cable for the Reed switch under the retai-
ning bracket and fasten the retaining bracket with the AH M6x12 oval
head screw from the underside of lower rear section (insert a 6.4 washer
between the lower rear section and the retaining bracket).
– Remove the dummy plug from the main wiring harness and connect
the alarm system.
– Secure the socket connection with the cover [2].
– Fasten the alarm system with the 4 oval-head tapping screws and
washers [1].
– Connect the Reed switch cable to the wiring harness.
– Drill 2 holes (D=2,5mm) in the bottom of the seat and screw on the
magnet [3].
– Check by mounting the seat and making sure the magnet and Reed
switch are positioned on top of one another (max. distance approx.
15 mm).
– Remount the dismounted parts.
– Drill a hole [4] (D=8,5mm) in the dashboard.
– Remove the AH screws from the light mask [5] and fold the light mask
forward.
BE CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE ANY WIRES WHEN DRILLING THE HOLE.
Mounting the LED cable:
– Insert the fastening rubber for the LED indicator lamp through the hole
(D=8,5mm) in the dashboard.
– Insert the LED cable and indicator lamp through the fastening rubber
in the dashboard and connect to the wiring harness.
– Fold the light mask up again and screw tight.
