should be followed at all times in order to prevent
accidents and damage to the oven:
WARNING!
Denotes information that must be followed in order to
avoid serious personal injury or death.
CAUTION!
Indicates information which must be followed in order to
prevent damage to the appliance.
HINT
Presents hints and other useful information.

Fire danger
Food, and specifi cally the fat it contains, may catch
fi re. There is, as a matter of principle, always a risk
of fi re while the appliance is switched on:
• Ensure that the appliance is not positioned or
operated near infl ammable materials (eg curtains,
drapes).
• Do not place the oven on any easily combustible
surface (eg paper towels). It must only be
operated on heat-resistant surfaces.
• The oven must not be installed or operated inside
a cupboard.
• Do not operate the oven on hot surfaces or near
any heat sources (eg hot-plates, gas fl ames).
• Do not position any objects on top of the oven.
• Do not leave the oven unattended while it is in
use.
• Do not allow the power cord to touch any hot
parts of the appliance.
