Hot surfaces and hot fat
With the oven switched on, and also after use, the
temperature of accessible surfaces can be extremely
high. There is also a danger of burns from hot food:
• Do not touch the hot interior surfaces or the
GB
heating elements under any circumstances.
• Never put your hand inside the oven when it is
switched on. Always use the handle provided for
the baking tray and rack to take out the food. If
necessary, use oven gloves.
• Never touch the exterior surfaces of the oven
when it is in use.
• With the oven switched on, only touch the door
handle or the control panel.
• Be careful when opening the door as hot steam
may escape.

• Caution: Never pour water or any other type of
liquid into the hot interior, as this will result in hot
water vapour forming.
• Do not carry or move the oven during use.
• Do not touch any metal surfaces or the heating
elements immediately after use.
• After use, wait at least 30 minutes before
removing the crumb tray. Caution: Fat remains
hot for a very long time, and should not really be
handled at any time until it has cooled down.
